the scotts extra soft should be included in the deal b/c they come in the 18pk where the scotts 1000 only comes in a 12pk.

just an fyi, not to bad mouth any product, but if you have not used the scott 1000 tissue before, it is the one brand my husband said to NEVER buy again. it’s one ply and what i call “commercial” grade, like you would find in a school bathroom. now, the paper towels are good, would buy them again in a heartbeat.
Lauren says
Agreed, however I do like the Extra Soft variety! But these aren’t always included in deals, sales, etc.

I agree with you, I have bought it before and me and my husband was just saying the same thing. Wouldn’t buy it again.

I did get several packages of the Scott 1000 tissue with coupons and sales about 10 months ago. I am still trying to give it away. :) That stuff is awful.
For the Mommas says
I know a lot of my neighbors with septic only use that because it breaks down really easy.

I will use anything as long as it is cheap or free. I shop for a lot of people and most of them don’t care about brands just as long as it fits their budget. Years ago, I used to be very brand conscious and I used to buy a shampoo for 16.99 I think because I love the smell and it was a good product. After having children, I even used baby shampoo or Suave.
Some stuff that I get free, I won’t use or give away because it is just horrible l. I got a bunch of soup free a while ago, it was an off brand, it looked like pet food and tasted like it, I’m not sure why they would even make something like that. There is some stuff that just doesn’t work, I got a much of Stop Heartburn spray that was free at Walgreens a while ago, after a couple of sprays, the pump stops working so you have to drink it. It does stop heartburn but they need to change the design for the spray. I thought the spray part might have been defective, I tried to use another one, same thing.

If I bought 4 of the scott bathroom tissue, would that be enough for the reward to print?
Barb says
Yes! CVS has a rule where if you are within 98% of the ‘must spend’ price, you will get the reward. So, you need to spend at least $29.40.
Jamie says
I didn’t see your comment before I left mine, but that’s good to know. I knew they rounded up, but I never knew there was an exact amount.
Alison says
Thank you both!!! Barb, thanks for saying something about that rule, I never heard that Cvs did that before. That gives me one more reason to shop at Cvs instead of rite aid:)

Hi Barb, By any chance do you know what the rule is for Rite-Aid? I want to buy the Futuro guards this week, but you have to spend $30.00 to get the up bucks, I will be 4 cents short.
Thank you
For the Mommas says
Rite Aid will not trigger at $.04 short :(
Jamie says
That has always worked for me in the past on similar deals.
