If your home is like mine, this may look familiar to you. A worthy attempt to repair a hole in the wall, turned ugly. Those of us who are not handy, need just a little bit more than the tiny instruction sheet that comes with the repair kit.
Many of us want to tackle these projects ourselves, without the hefty price tag of calling in an expert. So whether you want to repair a whole in the wall, stain your deck, or paint an accent wall, Walmart’s Projects Made Simple has a solution for you.
Each available project includes:
:: A short video how-to with chapters for each step
:: Instructions to download or print out
:: A list of all the necessary supplies
There are step by step videos to help you with the project. Sometimes, I wish I could just do it alone, without asking the husband for help. (Asking him for help means waiting several months). These videos are so simple to understand and follow. You might not become a master craftsman overnight, but you can tackle some of those nagging products!
Project’s Made Simple also includes printable documents and your shopping list! If you have a DIY Project, you definitely want to check it out!
Could you use a $100.00 Walmart Givecard to help with your DIY project? One FTM Reader will win a $100.00 Walmart Giftcard.
Note: Be sure to leave THREE separate comments for each entry.
1. Check out Walmart’s Projects Made Simple and leave a comment telling me which project you would like to do.
2. Leave a comment here sharing a Do -It- Yourself Tip.

I do a lot of do it yourself projects. We recently just got my daughter 2 new items, one is a little office area (looks like a hotel counter) for free and also a little old wooden desk that the top flips up from a public auction. I tore them apart to make one of the walls in the office and a part inside the desk into chalkboards. It cost we under $4 to do this and made one 2 year old a very happy little girl!!

Refreshing Garbage Disposal is very easy and fast.
One a week or so I add ice cubes, cut up lemons and baking soda and turn on with running water. Cleans, refreshes and sharpens the blades too. Too save water usage I don’t run the disposal until I run a load of dishes…when the water fills up into the disposal I turn on. This only works if you don’t have alot of disposal material.
