Are your little ghosts and goblins ready for Halloween? How about your furry kids? Does your dog or cat get in on all of the Halloween Trick or Treating action? I think it is fun to dress up my dog for Halloween; he has another opinion! One thing I do love to do is have treats on hand for any dogs that show up at my door with their families. It is only fair that we treat them too! Right next to the bowl of candy for the kids, I have this really cute DIY Halloween Dog Treat Jar that holds all the treats for the furry ghosts and goblins. This is a fun and easy craft that even your youngest children can help create.
DIY Halloween Dog Treat Jar – #TreatThePups
Supplies Needed:
- Glass candy jar with lid
- Assorted Vinyl Clings
- Ribbon (optional)
- Halloween cello bags (optional)
Instructions:
Choose Halloween themed clings of various sizes and place on all sides of the glass jar. No cutting or painting involved Easy! A DIY Halloween Dog Treat Jar! You could get fancy and put a ribbon around the jar if you wanted to make it even cuter. Fill the jar with your dog’s favorite flavor of Pup-Peroni, Milk-Bone or Milo’s Kitchen treats. You could even fill individual cello bags with Pup-Peroni and Milo’s Kitchen Treats like I did below, and store them in the container.
That is my dog Lucky in the photo. He hates costumes, so he is going as a devil dog, with or without the horns.
