We decided to donate the turkey to the food bank. I made homemade chicken stock from bones that I keep in the freezer until I have enough to make a big pot of stock. You have to spend $400 in a month’s time, and that’s not hard for us to do. I made homemade applesauce when the orchard was having an end of season sale.

Donate good clothing you really can’t use to a non-profit and bank the tax deduction. Pay attention to expiration dates by organizing your pantry and freezer so that the oldest food is in front. Darn the holes in your socks instead of throwing them out. Pass down serviceable clothing from child to child. Use up your food.

The shop donated a portion of our dinner bill to this charity. 8 Freezer Meal Recipes. During her training, she has also been raising money for a local organization called, Vickie’s Angel Foundation. They provide a financial bridge for families fighting cancer. She had a fundraising dinner at a sub shop.
