If you're new to couponing you may be trying to figure out the term doubling.
Doubling coupons means the face value of the coupon is multiplied by 2 then the sum is deducted from your bill.
So a 50 cents off coupon would be $1 off
75 cents off would be $1.50
35 cents off would be 70 cents off etc.
You do not have to tell the register to double the coupon. The register is programmed to double it.
However it's always a safe bet to watch the register to ensure all of them are doubling that are suppose to.
Stores that double coupons:
Bruno’s, Food World, Publix, Kroger & Winn Dixie every day up to 50 cents
Food Giant up to $1 on Mondays
Western Supermarkets every day up to 65 cents
Fred’s up to 70 cents on Saturdays
Piggly Wiggly locations up to 99 cents everyday
You do not tell them to double the coupon. The register will do it for you.
