Free Walmart Layaway starts Sept. 13 for holiday shopping season

Walmart announced this morning they will change their layaway program for the 2013 holiday shopping season making it fee free.  Customers will still be required to put $10 or 10 percent down.

The layaway applies to the following departments:

Electronics

Auto Electronics

Toys

Infant Toys

Select Sporting Goods

Small Appliances

Jewelry.

They will also honor ad match for items in layaway.
