TIPS FOR IMAGINARY PLAY -
1. Lay some chairs down on their backs. Get some belts or ribbon and let the kids strap themselves in.
2. Get out the bicycle helmets to act as astronaut helmets. (Add sunglasses for visors)
3. Once they "reach" outer space, "walk" around the room like you are floating
4. Help them imagine what they see, stars, the sun, the Earth, the solid rocket boosters falling back to Earth.
5. Help them strap back in for a return flight home.
