Walmart announced a first for the back to school shopping season. Teachers across the nation can save 10 percent on classroom supplies July 25 through July 31 in what they are calling a Teacher Appreciation Week.
This is a first for the retail giant but it does involve a little bit of work on the teachers part. See what I mean below:
Teachers who shop at Walmart stores are eligible to receive a Walmart eGift card for 10 percent back on nearly 15,000 products – everything from pencils and glue to classroom decor.
Here's how it will work:
Shop Walmart stores for classroom supplies.
Visit http://www.walmart.com/teachers by August 15 to register receipts by entering teacher's school information and receipt transaction code.
Savings on eligible items from select departments* will be delivered on a Walmart eGift card via email within 14 days of submitting the receipt online.
This is for in-store purchases only and does not apply to Walmart.com purchases. Visit www.walmart.com/teachers for terms and conditions.
