There is a Giant Instant Savings starting on Sunday June 5th. I wanted to mention it early so you had time to get your coupons ready. This instant savings is available at most stores, including gas stores. Buy 7 items, get $5.00 off instantly.
There are a couple nice scenarios I can see right away. The Dannon Kids yogurt ends up being really cheap. I am sure there are more ideas, leave any deals you might see in the comments.
Deal Ideas:
Buy (7) Dan-0-nino Yogurt $13.23
use (7) $1.00/1 Coupons
Get $5.00 off instantly
$1.23 or $.17 each
Buy (7) Dannon Danimals $14.00
use (7) $1.00/1 Coupons
Get $5.00 off instantly
$2.00 or $.28 each after coupons

as an ex giant employee you can normally only get one deal on select items because they go by your bonus card now if you have different bonus card it could work I know I have mine from before I got married and my husband has one from before we were married so we normally split are groceries and use both bonus cards
Kathy says
Can you do this deal more than once in a transaction If I buy 14 yogurts, will $10 come off?
Shannon says
Kathy,
I have had it go both ways and every time I do it and it doesn’t work, they tell me you can only do it once. So I am always cautious and do it separate.
Gina says
Does anyone know when they are going to have the Dannon Greek yogurt at Giant???
I had the vanilla last week and it is better than the Chobani, and I love Chobani!
Great deals on the kids stuff, thanks for the info!
Mary says
No coupons for cookie dough left:(
Mary says
This is working again, yay!
Mary says
But it’s now 1.50 off TWO.
Keli says
The butter coupon has no prints left :(

I scored big time with this. My 7 year old is a major milk drinker. He only eats one meal a day so we only give him soy milk. I was able to do two transactions. Each with 3 8th Continent Soy Milk and 4 Dannon yogurts. Total for each order was $3.50!

Use 7 of the $1 Activia q’s found in the GIANT Dairy flyer – NICE deal on yoqurt!!
I also had 2 of the $.75 off Smart Balance milk PRINTABLE – I am not sure where I got it…maybe their webiste?
carrie says
Just curious to do this deal (7 of the same item) will you all be buying 7 of this weeks newspaper? It seems like there wouldn’t be time to order the coupons for this week. Looking for ideas!
Vanessa says
Carrie – I pick up my papers at the Dollar Tree for a $ on Sundays. So it allows me to do these deals on Sunday am or I head to my local store mid week after they get their “truck” in & restock. Or just get rain checks if all else fails.
Andrea says
Carrie, There are 2 coupons in each paper for Danimals so you’d only have to buy 3 additional papers to get all of the Danimals.
Shannon, in the Giant flyer that came out last week in some papers there is a $1/1 Activia 4 pack so if you have some of these flyers you could also do this deal and get cheap Activia. (These are mfr coupons, not Giant coupons so you can’t combine them.)
Nicki says
I used that borden sensations q on reg cheese and on the sensations and it didn’t beep. the sensations at walmart are 1.88…fyi…thanks for the dannon yogurt heads up!!
Shannon says
Nicki,
Sorry that is not what the coupon is for, so I cannot post improper usage of coupons.
heather says
Is it just on the ones you have listed here? Another site had the borden singles for $2. With the dollar off one coupon that was in last Sunday’s paper, I feel a deal coming on…
Shannon says
There is no good coupon matchup according to the sizes.
The Borden in the ad that is $2.00 on 12 oz packages, the coupon for $1.00/1 is for the Borden Sensations which is 8 oz.
jenn says
stonyfield’s has a .50/2 coupon on their website for the 5.3 size.
emily says
The only oikos greek yogurt coupon I see is for the bigger package 16 oz or the 4 pack couldn’t use it on the individual.
anthony b says
Could you do Stonyfield Oikos Greek Yogurt @ 1.25 each
7 x 1.25 = 8.75
– $5.00 savings = 3.75
– .50 off greek yogurt -3.25 and if your giant dbls.. one of the coupons should become a $1.00 off making it free..
does that sound right?
Carolyn says
Awesome thanks for heads up! Haven’t had time to scan next weeks ad yet. I think I’m going to do all cookie dough. My son just baked our last package the other night & we are in “dire need”. LOL
I’m thinking 8 packs
$20.00 – $6.00 MFCs-$5.00 Instant savings = $1.12 per package. I can live with that!
Thanks again Shannon you rock!!
LISA says
What is the actual deal to get the $5 off? Is it a money amount you have to spend or is it a quantity of items you have to buy?
Shannon says
Buy 7, Get $5.00 off instantly.
Kristin says
Shannon, does the ad say you can mix and match, I would assume so, just checking :)
Shannon says
Yep.
