P arsley, Purple Kale and Cabbage, along with a lovely Lavender bush found earlier that week at Trader Joe's (top photo of collage) joined the existing baby rosemary bush by the garden gate and the other plants populating our tiny herb garden. The herb pot in behind the cabbage was bought for under $4 from Trader Joe's.

Everyone in my family has different tastes. I like Fuji, Gala or Honeycrisp, which are sweet but still nice and crunchy, and the rest of my family prefers Granny Smith, which are more tart. No one in my family loves cooked apples by themselves. That said, I’m not the expert on baking with apples.

Most families order take out after a long day of work or school as an easy answer to dinner. For a quick pasta marinara, I like Trader Joe’s Marinara Sauce (it’s great right out of the jar), pasta, and a good quality parmesan. You usually wind up paying WAY too much for what your getting, and a delivery fee to boot.

Everyone in my family loves soup, which is awesome considering it is budget friendly, good for you, easy, and a great way to use up leftovers! I buy the big bunches of kale when they go on sale at Whole Foods and easily get 2-3 meals out of them and I ADORE the roasted frozen corn at Trader Joe’s. Pin This To Pinterest.
