Come celebrate Dad’s special day at the Zoo! We are joining the Association of Zoos and Aquarium (AZA) in supporting the
as part of a national celebration of fathers. In honor of Father’s Day, dads get in free at the Zoo on June 17th with the purchase of a child admission. A variety of automobiles including a BMW, Lexus and Mercedes will be showcased for fathers to check out courtesy of DonohooAuto.
To add to the day’s excitement, guests can join a Get Rhythm!® African Drum Circle in Trails of Africa and get up close and personal with some humongous reptiles. Keepers will measure and weigh the Aldabra tortoises in the Tortoise Yard, feed the alligator in the Alligator Swamp, give educational keeper chats and much more. Bring your camera for a special photo opportunity with a zookeeper and these unique reptilian creatures!
