This weekend Jamie and I attended the South Beach Wine and Food Festival in Miami. I was so excited to go and then I got an invitation to experience The Docking Station at the Surfcomber Hotel on South Beach! The Surfcomber is a Kimpton hotel located at 17th and Collins in the heart of South Beach.

We were excited when Cassandra over at CraveLocal asked us if we wanted her media passes to go to the South Beach Wine and Food Festival this past weekend in Miami! Of course we said yes! Jamie liked the curry stone crab from the Tobago tent!

I was so excited to attend a spa day at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Miami last week courtesy of Nuance Salma Hayek and CVS! The food was spa inspired but also powered by the ingredients contained in the Nuance line. She also used the gel and the BB cream. It was all super creative and tasted delicious!

We were whisked away to The Herrington, a gorgeous boutique hotel in Geneva, Il. Then we heard from Janice Stahl, a food stylist who is also an avid Aldi shopper! The food was great and the Aldi test kitchen chefs helped to serve us. We all left very full and headed back to the hotel to go to sleep.

Liz lives in Miami and we don’t get to see each other too often so a spa day in Palm Beach Gardens sounded perfect to us! The hotel lobby has a bar right in the middle of it and once per month is the venue for a Girl’s Night out, a free event to showcase local boutiques. The spa entryway was modern and welcoming.
