At my previous job, I had no problem with bringing my lunch every day to work. My co-workers were all the brown-bagging type, and nobody really took a proper lunch break. Furthermore, my office was not near any sort of restaurant or café, thereby eliminating the accessibility of food out, as well as my craving for it.

I work in a great office environment, and with some really great people. With over 14 people in our office, there are a lot of birthdays and work anniversaries. When you are at work, it is very easy to spend too much money on food. Many times offices are located close to coffee shops, fast food joints, and more. Many offices also have vending machines full of soda, chips, and candy. Most of this easily accessible food is not good for you, and it is expensive to boot.

Years ago when I worked in retail buying I went out to lunch just about everyday–not the best habit to fall into. In my defense, I was dying to get out of the office for a break and I usually went with a group of good friends. Towards the end of my retail career, I wised up and started to pack my lunch more often.

You enter through Privet Drive, which has a structure much like they have at a fast food play area. We spent a little less than 2 hours walking through and then browsing their gift shop and then we went to get lunch and drove the 3 hours home. And what's a party without food and treats? It was a great day.
