Our dollar store (Dollar Tree) always carries the Sunday paper including inserts. And it is only $1. I actually get weekend delivery of my local paper and purchased a 52 weekend subscription for only $10, and I get all of the coupon inserts.

Most likely the people who can primarily only afford to buy at the dollar stores can’t afford the Sunday coupon paper.. unless your stealing from the neighbors… then, nevermind

Actually, if buying the paper ends up getting them free items then that pays for the news paper in the long run and keeps extra money in their pocket. Depending on the deals. So, they actually may walk away with more money in their pockets buy first buying the paper then going shopping. Not to mention, in many neighborhoods coupons get dropped off for free with the circulars. I’m a single mom on one income and in the long run, I know the investment of buying the coupons can pan out to saving you more, not costing you more.
