I let it cool thoroughly, then put it in a plastic bag and stick it in the freezer. If you have a chest freezer or other non-defrosting freezer, homemade bread can stay fresh for several months in its frozen state. In a self-defrosting freezer, though, I’d try to eat it up more quickly than that. Your thoughts?
