One strategy I used to make dinner time more bearable was to begin making freezer meals. For instance, food.com has over 700 freezer meal recipes. OnceAMonthMom.com has freezer meals posted every month, and you can look through the archives. What Tools Do You Need? You should have freezer bags and several large pots.

Personally, I plan a weekly menu that’s centered around what’s already in my pantry and freezer, what’s on sale and my family’s schedule. If you don’t think the food in the fridge will be eaten before it goes bad, place leftovers in a freezer container, label, and store in the freezer. Thaw as needed.

I either put the extra batch in the freezer or my kids ate it for Dinner #1. But I am looking for new slow cooker, instant pot, and freezer recipes. I have 8 freezer recipes that we like, but I need to add more so we don’t get bored. Monday: Turkey Veggie Sloppy Joes – made a double batch to put in the freezer.
