Giant is running a promotion for Frozen Food Month . Buy $100 in frozen food and get back $25.00 OYNO catalina.
There is a big caveat to this promotion – it is after all coupons and discounts – which doesn’t make it so appealing to me. However, if you buy alot of frozen food, it may be great for you.
The promotion is automatically tracked on your bonus card from 2/27 to 3/26 — so it is cumulative and does not have to be spent in one transaction.
It looks like it includes all frozen food items, except the excluded list here. You can see all the details here.

Actually if you combine this with this week’s gas point deal where you actually buy the whole 30 gallons of gas, you will end up making $11 and getting 100 free Mama Celeste Pizzas, if you have room in your freezer for them. They are only 5oz – about 1 slice each, but if you want to ring up 7pizzas about 14 times the deal works out. No coupons used. You may want to not get them all in the same day, just to be fair.

@Caroline,
thats alot of pizza, I am sure my store doesn’t even carry that many one at any time.

Krissy-yay for you!! :)
Shannon-I agree, I guess this is nice if you’re already spending the money, but I have to say I really don’t like Giant or like giving them my business. Although my Giant is the closest store to me, I avoid it like the plague. They are not coupon friendly (won’t take a bogo q with a bogo sale, only double one like coupon, etc) and never are stocked well. They also never have enough checkers and you always have to self bag. I think their bogo sales are also sleezy, as they jack up the price of the first item – big time. And back to this promotion, I think it is sleezy they say after coupons. If you paid cash, you only have to get to $100 for them to give you the certificate- if you use coupons, you are giving them much more money than that for them to issue you the certificate. A coupon is NOT a discount!!

From my transaction this afternoon, the total amount, NOT the after-coupon amount, counted toward the $100 total. Hope that’s the way it’s going to work all month!
Sharon says
At least you don’t have to buy it all at one time! That would be a really bad deal!
Wendy Pesce says
IS it confirmed it is after coupons? Many times it says that, but counts before coupons? Of course they change it up frequently- gas points used to be before, and many times they are after
Katherine says
I can confirm that it is after-coupon total at the sister store, Stop & Shop, in NH which is running the exact same promo. I bought 4 Green Giant Veggies at 4 for $5, used 4 x .50/1 coupons, and my receipt showed $1 toward my $100 total…long way to go :)

I think for me this may be turn out to be a good deal bc I buy tv dinners for lunch. Just looked at my receipt and I have $24 towards the $100 already but I’m really not so sure I spent that much, maybe some things are counting that I didn’t realize. That would be nice!
