Frugal Home Decor: Sophisticated Popsicle Stick Art

popsicle stick art.jpg
Artist  Nathalie Chickhi knows her Popsicle sticks.  She has created some beautiful artwork with pixelated images and colorful designs.

While I know you would be pleased with purchasing one of her pieces, it may not be in the budget.

Since art inspires, let Chickhi's art inspire you just like the writers at Apartment Therapy suggested here.

They outline some steps you could take to create your own stick masterpiece for a fraction of the cost.

Supplies:

Glue - glue gun
Foam core board or styrofoam
Bag of Popscile sticks -- you can find a 100 count or more in bags in craft stores and Walmart.
Paint -- They suggest regular paint.  I'm all for speed so I would suggest a variety of colors in spray paint.
