butterfly clip.jpg

Need a craft to do with the kids this weekend?  Here's a quick and easy craft that doesn't require a lot of supplies.  It could be a cute gift for a grandparent or look good on your own fridge.

SUPPLIES --

Plastic "ziplock" sandwich bag

Glue

Clothes pin (only a $1 for a big bag at Dollar General)

Colored construction paper, tissue paper or crape paper

Black marker

1 Pipe cleaner (Substitute garbage bag ties if you don't want to buy pipe cleaners)

Magnet  (Go

ets)

DIRECTIONS --

1.  Have your child rip up little pieces of the colored paper

2.  Fill a Ziplock bag about half way full and seal

3.  Take a piece of magnet and glue it to the back of the clothes pin

4.  Fold the bag down and clip the clothes pin in the center

5.  You can add a small strip of pipe cleaner at the top and curl it for antennae

6.  Add a face

7.  Put it on the fridge

My daughter's class made these this week and they are adorable.

This is a good way to use up all the little scraps of paper that fill up your crafting areas.
