A lot of us frequent garage sales. But once you have made your millions – would you still go garage sale-ing? Why would a millionaire want to continue to shop at garage sales? Garage sales are one of the few USA venues where negotiation on the price of goods to be bought is expected.

I used an old seat cushion I had and wrapped it with brand new material from another garage sale to pretty it up and make it softer, then stacked new throw pillows I found at yet another sale for $.50 I used it for years and sold it – for $25 – last summer in my own garage sale. That is what this is. Go Frugal'

I keep a roll of heavy paper (which I buy at Home Depot for about $11 for a roll about 2 inches thick and 2 feet wide) to use in wrapping packages, protecting floors during home projects, making garage sale signs and etc. I will probably use an old garage sale board game as the base, and just glue the printed game mat to it.

This was hubby’s hobby, but I thought maybe we could sell the birds (quail is good eating!). I’ve always loved going to sales – garage sales, estate sales, auctions, moving sales – no matter. To be successful, I think you need access to free or really cheap bulk sale items.

As a hobby. Perhaps something that gave you a marketable skill instead of a hobby skill? I bought out a lady at a garage sale long ago, made several dresses, shirts, shorts and cover ups out of some of the material and still have a gob left over. Why learn to sew? Poly lasts forever!
