There is a deal on cereal this week at Giant. Buy (4) Cereals and get $6.00 off instantly. Now, the shelf prices vary from store to store, but here is a general idea of what you can do:
If your store fully doubles:
Buy (1) Honey Nut Cheerios Medley $2.99 – $3.49
Buy (1) Honey Multi Grain Cheerios $2.99 – $3.29
Buy (1) Reeses Puff $2.99 -$3.49
Buy (1) Cinnamon Toast Crunch $2.99 – $3.19
Total as low as $11.96
use $.75/1 Honey Nut Cheerios Medley
use $.75/1 Honey Multi Grain
use $.50/1 Reeses Puffs
use $.50/1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Total after coupons 6.96
Get $6.00 off
$1.96 after coupon or $.49 each
If you store doesn’t fully double, it would be $2.96 for 4.
If you can find these cereals, your out of pocket drops to $.96 for all four.
- $.75/1 Vanilla Chex Cereal (zip 77477)
- $.75/1 Hershey’s Cookie N Creme (zip 77477)
Thanks, Melanie
Do you have any scenarios?

Nevermind. I thought I was being helpful but someone on FB told me they will only double one coupon. I never heard of a policy like that….
Laura says
They will double only 1 like coupon per order, however if each coupon is for a different cereal then each coupon doubles. Their coupon policy is why I rarely shop at Giant.

However if you have different values of the same product coupon, they will double.
Like say having a 75 cents off reese puffs and having a 85 cents off reese puffs. I’ve done this myself on many occasions at Giant and because the coupon is technically a different value it does happen.

thanks for the heads up on the different values. Using different values and 2 transactions I was able to get 3 boxes Reeses Puffs, 3 boxes Honey Nut Cheerios Crunch Medley and 2 boxes Golden Grahams and only pd $3.22 total OOP for 8 boxes!!
Carlie says
not understanding…if you buy 3 Reeses Puffs, they have to be different amounts or they won’t double…or you just use a .50 twice and 50 Doubled. right? or are other Giants not as strict as mine?
Laura says
I did 2 transactions> 1st 2 Reeses Puffs 1 Golden Grahams & 1 Honey Nut Cheerios Crunch Medley used 1 $.60 & 1 $.50 Reeses Puffs coupon an $.85 HN Cheerios Medley & an $.85 Golden Grahams. Both Reeses coupons doubled because they were different values. 2nd transaction I had 2 HN Cheerios Medley and used a $.75 & a $.85 coupons for those 1 box Golden Graham w/ a $.85 coupon & a Reeses Puffs with a $.50 coupon. Again both Cheerios coupons doubled because they were different values. My Giants store are very much coupon strict. One like coupon doubled per order, that’s why I had to split it up.

You might be be able to get some for free. I had .75/1 mulit-grain Cheerios printable coupon in my stash. My Giant equivalent, Stop and Shop, had the multi-grain Cheerios for 2.99. So 2.99 *4 = 11.96,I used 4 $.75/1 coupons, when doubled it took off 6.00, and save 6 instantly will be -.04 or 0 as they don’t give overage.
The Cheerio’s Medley were 3.29 each. I bought 4, used .85/1 BETTYCROCKER.com, paid .36 for 4. There is also a .85/1 on bettycrocker.com on Golden Grahams and they are included as well.
