Cheap (not just inexpensive, I mean cheap – easy to break) toys came from post-war Japan. There was no polyester clothing. Clothing had to be ironed to look good. People dressed up.

Both the dress and shoes are Isaac Mizrahi for Target. I’m not typically a pink girl, but the pattern on this dress is really spectacular and I love the way the colors all go together. ~ I made the key necklace of course, but I found all of the chains at a thrift store for less than 3 bucks each. I really miss his stuff.

I finally decided on black leggings, knee boots, and my thrifted white vintage sweater with my plaid shirt underneath (for warmth). OMG, the pressure! and OMG!

SO fabulous I broke out the “high fashion pose” One of my very favorite combos is the all black outfit, brown shoes and bag. In perfect condition, and all of $12 at a thrift store. And looks fabulous enough to make a girl jealous doing it. *Oh, I think it really makes the accessories pop. This jacket is a vintage wonder.

Love these shoes. At first I was not sure what I would wear a yellow leather loafer with, as I’m not really a loafer kind of girl, but I find a LOT of things to wear them with, and the leather is like butter. So needless to say, I love it. I took it straight home last night and wiped it down with leather oil and ~*love*~.
