Black Friday 2014 is going to be different on more ways than one. While you are being prepared with the Ad Scan previews from all the major stores, of which AC Moore, Sears, Dell, Belk and some more are already out, here are a few things that we are hoping to see this Black Friday:
1. You will see more stores offering guaranteed doorbusters: Walmart and Toys R Us offered this guaranteed doorbuster deals last year, and we expect the same from these stores and more to encourage in-store traffic. For those who are not aware of the term “guaranteed” doorbuster, it simply means that you will receive wristbands or vouchers that guarantee that item, even if supplies run out, though it may require a few weeks patience from you. You won’t have to worry about punching anyone out for a toy.
2. More staff for better service: While there is a huge debate on whether employees should be working during Holidays, major players are definitely going to stock up on cashiers for the never ending payment queues. Hopefully they will be compensated with a Holiday Bonus!
3. Mobile Payments to be encouraged: After Apple joined Google for the mobile payments, more brands will encourage payment through mobile phones by exclusive promotions tied to mobile wallet! So expect to shop more from your smartphone.
4. Low or Free Shipping Costs: With a slash of shipping costs of up to 58% on select businesses, we should see even better shipping options. Of course, with items like Amazon Prime, your shipping is automatically free. Target has already offered free Shipping on all orders.
5. More and better deals on smart phones, streaming items, laptops, tablets and more: The New-Gen is going to love to see more deals than ever before on Amazon’s Fire TV and Sony’s Playstation. Mommas, keep an eye out for those as well!

I am saddened by stores being open on Thanksgiving. I feel that is one of the few days of the year that should be spent with family. I am all about saving, don’t get me wrong, I just think businesses are just worried about the money, when they should be worrying about the people who work for them. I am happy about the deal changes thugh.
