Buy a big roll of brown paper at Lowes or Home Depot and use it to wrap gifts. Kids can provide artwork, or you can just tie the packages with natural twine and put the picture from one of last years Christmas cards received on it. You can get 144 feet of 2+ feet wide paper for around $11.
