Christmas was a one week event – between Dec 25 and Jan. School started after Labor Day and ended after Memorial Day. You didn’t start eating until everyone was served and seated. Men opened doors for women, women said thank you to them. 1; not a month long marathon. Heck, there were barely chain guards!
