Make sure the stylist uses a clean comb. We took our daughter in for a haircut and she got lice!

I have talked to a few friends who have done (or tried to do) this deal for the free hair cuts and it seems to not ever really work out for anyone. Appointments getting bumped for “paying” customers, bad haircuts, rudeness, etc. I guess it’s true what they say, “You get what you pay for”.

I would say i would love it but i think kids are kids until they are out of your house or 18, i have four kids and i think only doing k-6 is crap, i have a 2 1/2 year old she could use a hair cut too, so could my sons and its not like they have to do anything with them but buzz there hair…………………

I will definitely be going back for this! I LOVE our stylist at our JC Penney Salon— and not only do I use her for my 3 kids, but I also use her for my hair too. The whole experience was great for my family— I guess because everyone at my JC Penney salon was ON THE BALL from opening day to the last day of the promotion! They had drinks and snacks and goodie bags for “mom” on opening day too! I actually ended up getting my boys 2 free haircuts each… Once on August 1st, then again at the end of the month before they started school! LOVE that this is coming back!!! :D

I did this deal last and will not do it again…It was a bigger headache and actually cost me more in gas than to just pay for it… They canceled my appointment after I arrived at the store. They wanted to remake the appointment for after school started. I ended up taking them else wheres and paying for it because the gas alone, was about what the hair cuts would have cost on two trips to the J.C. Penny’s. Never even got an apology..
