Stella says
Okay, I goofed. My total came to only $19.97 and as a result the $10 UPR didn’t print. What do you suggest I do (that would be the least headache for me and the cashier)? Do I return the three products and then repurchase ones that total at least $20? I would do that, but then there is the issue of the UPR’s that printed and coupons I used. How will all of this come into play with a return? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Karalee says
Does anyone know if you get the $10 UPR if you use Desitin in your scenario?
Molly says
I tried this deal and the $10 UPR didn’t print because the in ad coupon specifies the Lubiderm must be 16 oz. or larger – and the one I grabbed was a 6 oz. The in-ad coupon still worked (the cashier said they’ll pretty much work for anything – good to know!). I had to return everything and it was a HUGE hassle. I was at the register for over an hour while they tried to figure out why my refund was greater than the total amount I paid with all my other purchases! We finally got it sorted out, but I didn’t try it again.
Moral of the story: Pay VERY close attention to the sizes and varieties you buy so you don’t repeat my mistake!
Oh, and I used two in-ad coupons for Aveeno with no problem, even though it specifies one per customer.
MJ says
It says on the in-ad coupons ‘Limit one per customer’, so the scenario you posted won’t be quite as good. Does anybody know if they will take multiple in-ad coupons?
Kristine Twardy-Todd says
@MJ, Didn’t realize that, they took mine and they all came off though…
angela says
Are these part of the resolution rewards?
Carrie says
There is a $1 off Aveeno body or Aveeno baby as well.
Mary says
@Carrie, I’m assuming the $1 off coupon for aveeno body or baby would work for the $3.69 Aveeno lotion. So if this is the case, here’s what I’m trying (because I don’t have the $4/$20 coupon:
Buy (7) Aveeno Lotion $3.69 ea
use (7) $1.00/1 Aveeno in ad coupons
use (4) $1.00/1 Any Aveeno body or baby printables (I have two computers to print from)
use (3) $1.00/1 from 1/9 Smart Source
Get $10 +Ups
Total: $1.83 OOP
Plus submit for 2 free lotions! (I didn’t see any restrictions…as long as you have the coupon, I imagine it will work.)
I’ll give it a try tomorrow and let you know how it goes :)

This sale is not in my area. :(
Elaine says
Please let me know where the manufacturer coupons can be found mentioned for the deal. Thanks.
Shannon says
They’re the printables mentioned above the deal.
tami says
if u end up getting the free aveeno Q in your paper, you could potentially use several and end up with lots of free aveeno plus make $10 right?
Shannon says
@tami,
free q is free via rebate.
tami says
@Shannon, Oh gotcha. That makes more sense. I thought it was pretty generous that they would put that coupon in the mail. Of course via rebate, it will be limited to one per household probably. Thanks for the reply.
leslie says
where can we find the mq at?
Grace G says
Thank you so much for this info. I am in need of Aveeno lotion-it is by far our favorite. Need to stock up for the winter months.
Leila says
holy moly! I’ve been waiting to buy my Aveeno facial cleanser so this is awesome!! I’ll do my deal Sunday and then post details. thanks!!
Taryn says
… and Aveeno counts towards the Resolution Reward, right? :)
Karen Jane says
Thank you so much for listing deal ideas and scenarios. I for one, am not great at math and figuring all of this out can be overwhelming for me. It really helps me to see these suggested scenarios.
Shannon says
@Karen Jane,
my pleasure Karen
Jennifer says
Awesome! I was looking for a good deal scenario for that free product mail-in rebate!
Kristin says
Shannon,
Will the 20% discount affect the total being over $25?
Also, do we need three different brand items for the aveeno free lotion offer or can we buy say three Aveeno lotions and it count for the offer?
Shannon says
@Kristin,
yes your 20% will affect your total, so you will need to calculate.. yes you can do the lotions but the in ad coupons become the issue.
Kristine Twardy-Todd says
Is the $4/20 coupon you are referring to the Beauty products one? I don’t see the regular $4/20 in my account…
Shannon says
@Kristine Twardy-Todd,
well its not for beauty products, but yes the one you have to watch the beauty ones to get.
Kristine Twardy-Todd says
@Shannon, Oh, I thought it was $4/20 of beauty products, it just said beauty products because you had to watch them to get it lol.
yulean says
Are these prices on sale? I don’t want to do the math again since I have my 20% discount :)
thank,
Shannon says
@yulean,
No these are Shelf price.
