This is an incredible opportunity for kids ages 5 to 12 to do something really amazing and earn a free plane ride. The Tuskegee Institute National Historic Site is offering a free Junior Ranger camp every Saturday in July. Students who attend each camp will earn a free plane ride with the Black Pilots of America.
Here are the details on earning the ride:
Youth participating for the entire four weeks will earn an airplane ride with the Black Pilots of America (BPA) and earn 1 hour of accredited flight time on the National Aviation register. Spaces are limited and are sure to fill up quickly you won't want to miss out on this opportunity.
This event is FREE and open to the public. For more information and to register, contact Park Ranger Robert Stewart at 334-724-0922 or visit www.nps.gov/tuai.
