a lunch salad from this week I spent: $71 at Aldi $6 at Safeway So, $77 for us this week. What We Ate Saturday Leftover chicken noodle soup , and I again added cream to mine. Also, I took the suggestion from one of you and added my leftover tortellini to the soup. Wednesday Leftover chili. PROBABLY NOT.

My lunch leftovers were at least 25% better than the original dish. Wednesday Leftover chicken katsu, freshly fried, because I employed the trick of breading all the chicken but not frying all of it the first night. Two words we do not tend to use for leftover fried chicken!) What did you have for dinner this week?

What We Ate Saturday I’d eaten a late lunch and wasn’t hungry. Tuesday I sauteed some ham from the freezer, then sauteed some chopped kale, then added in leftover mac and cheese plus some milk and cream. Friday We have some leftover chicken, so maybe I’ll do something with that for dinner. Let’s see.
