I found some red thread in my sewing box. And then I set up my sewing machine. So, I sewed a scrap piece of denim on the inside, using yellow thread to hide my stitching. Then I used blue thread to hand sew around the hole, to keep the hole from getting any bigger. Chiquita was interested in the spare bobbin. She got it.

Our library only had it in an ebook version (boo) and copies weren’t cheap on eBay, so I added it to my Amazon cart. So I took a needle and thread and just hand-sewed both of the ends closed. I fixed a shirt This shirt has some underwire shaping built in, and you know how sometimes the underwire on bras pokes through?

Sewing holes in clothes, using up leftovers before they go bad, finding free activities for my little on the weekends, checking buy nothing or marketplace before purchasing- I am always just looking for ways to spend money. What’s the easiest/hardest part of being frugal? The easiest part – it comes naturally to me at this point.

Box are some of my favorite authors) and I use the library to borrow both regular books and electronic resources. My mom cut coupons and sewed her own clothes and mine, as well. I love to read (Michael Connelly, Lee Child, Linda Castillo, Paul Doiron and C.J. Yup, I’m a voracious reader.
