Grab today's paper for the Mystery Penny Item on page 2A of your local paper. If your hometown paper is different but you still have Publix in the area, look in the A section for the coupon.
Most stores require the coupon.
Double check your receipt before you leave to make sure the item does show the discount.
You can present the coupon as your first coupon when your total is high -- then submit the remaining coupons. You will still qualify for the penny item.
