What is Plink? How does it work?

Not sure how it works, but I stopped the registration process when it asked for my credit card numbers. Never heard of them. Not giving my card numbers out to them!

That is the entire program with plink. Certainly if you aren’t comfortable registering your card, that is fine – but it s a legit BBB rated company.
Plink is a registered card program that allows you to earn Plink Points and other online rewards for dining out and shopping offline. You select where you want to eat or shop, and Plink activates those offers on your credit or debit card. It’s easy and safe!
Plink is designed so you don’t have to carry around an additional card, print out coupons, or use some sort of code to get your rewards. Simply pay with the credit or debit card you register with Plink when joining and we’ll automatically give you your rewards.

Are we talking about condensing the loyalty cards down to one? Does it work on grocery stores and drug stores? Carrying one loyalty card as opposed to 20 would certainly be more convenient.
What kind of “rewards” are we talking about here? And how are the rewards determined?
Are rewards linked to certain kinds of purchases at certain stores or would you still have to load the rewards before making a purchase?
Do you have personal experience with them? This seems like a neat idea with too few up-front details. Which is why I am so hesitant to give them my card number.
