What I Spent I went into this week with absolutely no menu plan…I was just winging it all week long and still, we didn’t eat out at all. Monday I found a package of chicken tenderloins in the freezer, so I thawed them and then seasoned and sauteed half of them. I think we just had some fruit on the side.

The Frugal Girl

Monday I found a small package of ground beef in the freezer along with some homemade burger buns so…we had burgers for dinner, topped with Swiss cheese. Sunday I found a few slices of bread in the freezer, so Zoe had some French toast plus the rest of the bacon, and I had some whole-wheat blueberry pancakes. Fruit on the side.

Sunday I went freezer spelunking and found a jar of homemade butter chicken sauce, a bag with two chicken thighs, and a package of marked-down naan. What We Ate Saturday I had a few Dinnerly meals left from a box last week and this was one: smash burgers with a special sauce, plus oven potato wedges. I cut up some produce for a side.
