Little River Canyon was first recorded by Hernando DeSoto's scribes.  Cultures continued to live here, enjoying the canyon in their own ways.  History here includes the Indians, Trail of Tears, the beginnings of electricity, and the building of parks.  Join the National Park Service interpretive staff for a program on the history of the land that became the park.
