1. Plan your costume in advance.
2. Look for accessories
3. If your child wants to be a doctor, nurse, scientist look for scrubs and lab jackets.
4. If you're going for scary and want to shred your clothing like a zombie head to the men's department and snag $1 or less dress shirts and ties.
5. Call your location to confirm they do have an assortment of costumes.
6. Also look in the household area for treat bags and decorations on the cheap.
