Money Makers: SMB Owners and Holiday Breaks

 FreshBooks’ Holiday Break Index found that a shocking 40% of SMB owners haven't taken a break in more than a year. 

 

With the recent push Corporate America has dedicated to promoting a healthy work-life balance, it seems SMB owners are still living to work. 

 

While the mental and economic stresses of running a small business in a constantly challenging marketplace continue to grow, how can corporate America help SMBs reach their full potential? 

 

Key findings from the report include: 

 

• 60% of SMB owners said they're worried about their business due to the economic uncertainty looming over 2023.
• The majority of respondents (50%) said they feel stressed while away from their work.
• Nearly all respondents said they do not disconnect from work when they take time off, at any point of the year.
