So far this week, Rite Aid has been fairly quiet. Here is a quick update on the Weekend Warrior Up Reward:
Here is the deal – Buy $25.00 in select products and get back $10.00 UPR. The items include:
- Thermacare patches – 2-3 ct
- Motrin PM 20 Ct
- Aleve 80 ct
- Aleve pm40 ct
- Advil 80-100 ct
- Excederin 24 CT
- Precise Patch
- Precise Cream
- Bengay 2 oz
- Bengay Patch 4 oz
It is being reported that the Advil 100 ct is not tracking properly. I cannot confirm this, but let us know if you tried it with the Advil 100 and if it worked. There is a limit of 2 UPR on this deal. This deal is also tracking over multiple purchases. Remember, this deal is not listed anywhere, so you are trying this at your own risk. This offer is listed in the 5/15 ad but no where else.
If you want to do the deal this week, here is an idea for you:
Use $3/2 Select Advil or ThermaCare Items, exp. 5-31-11 (RP 03/27/11)
Use $1/1 Thermacare Product, exp. 6-30-11 (RP 03/27/11)
Use $3/1 Thermacare printable
Buy 4 ThermaCare $6.99 (prices vary)
Use (2) $3/1 Printables
Use $3/2 coupon
Pay $18.96
Get back (2) $4 UP’s AND $10 UP
(Thanks, Southern Cali Saver)
* use a $3.00/$15.00 Survey Coupon to make this free *
It would seem as though the best week to do the deal would be the week of 5/8. There is a sale on Tylenol Precise. In addition, there is also a $5.00/1 Printable coupon, making it free after coupon.
So hypothetically this deal should work {again I say hypothetically because we know its Rite Aid and well.. }
Buy (5) Tylenol Precise $25.00
Use (5) $5.00/1 Coupons (this coupon will be in the paper as well the week of 5/8)
Free after coupons
Get $10.00 UPR
I plan on getting to Rite Aid to do a scenario with Advil today. I am all out of Advil, so hoping I can come up with a good scenario.
If you have any great scenarios for this deal, leave it in the comments.

I went to RA yesterday and got the Precise – 6 of them and my store didn’t have the Weekend Warrior UP active on the register….I guess I will do it again the week it comes up!!! Bummed though I could have used that UP to roll into the second transaction….but I didn’t!
Brenda says
When did this reward begin? Last week I bought the thermacare but it is not tracking on my receipt.
Shannon says
@Brenda,
Last week.
Jeremy says
I have already gotten 1 WW Reward. What is the limit on these? On my receipt I am $16 dollars towards the second one. The reason I ask is I am going to be getting 15 boxes of 24ct Excedrin Migraine tomorrow as I have (15) $2/1 coupons and they are on sale for 1.99.
Shannon says
@Jeremy,
2 I believe.
Kristie says
I know this may sound dumb but what does it mean “weekend warrior”, I checked the riteaid 101 but didn’t see anything there. Also has anyone tried this with the tylenol precise coupons yet?
Shannon says
Kristie, its just what rite aid is calling this particular promo.
ozi says
this deal is next week deal or last week deal??
i confused about the this promition time…
Stephan says
Got my second WeekendWarrior 10$UPR today, all with Thermacare. How awesome is this deal??? I made 23$ profit with my last 5 transactions (after I paid more OOP the weeks before) :)
Plus I’m getting closer to the magic 1000 points woohooo! I have 965 or so after today, and I spent a total of 29.52 $ for all the stuff I got so far since January 1st :) LOOOOVE RA !
Dianne says
The Aleve 80 count gel capsules did not count toward it. I returned them and purchased the 100 count capsules (that had a bonus of 20 or 30 capsules) and that counted. I got my first $10 reward. I called Rite Aid Wellness and you can do this offer twice.
Corlien says
Shannon,
Do you know where the $5 printable coupon for Advil/ThermaCare product is??
diana says
here’s the link to it https://combo.wyethcoupons.com/pages/219

Hi, i was able to get the Weekend Warrior UPR by getting the Advil 80ct liqui-gels. They cost a little more $10.99 instead of $9.99 but with the riteaid printables it makes it worth it. I got 2 Advils $8.79 each with 20% discount & 2 Thermacare $5.59 with 20% discount= $28.76 total, used 2) $5.00 advil/theramcare printables, 2) $1 advil riteaid printables, 2) $1
thermacare printables & $3/$15 coupons, paid $11.76 & got back $18.00 in up+.
June says
I am lost here, how do you get 20% off?
Shannon says
Wellness Discount June.
Melanie says
Where do you get the advil/thermacare printable?
mrs kate says
hi! I just tried this deal today. I got 2 thermacare and 2 advil 100 count. Only the thermacare counted towards my weekend wariors +up, so it must exclude the 100 count advil.
Also I was wondering where the $1 rite aid therma care and advil coupons are? thank you!
Shannon says
they are in the matchups.. (the coupons)
The ad clearly states 100ct. for the week of 5/15.
Rodney says
if this makes it easier to find the $1 rite aid therma care and advil coupons (exp. 7/31):

tonya says
Ny store had no 80 ct. not even a shelf tag. The 100 ct did not work. Can I call customer service or is the 100 ct not included. I am confused if it is not included or if it just is not working.
Shannon says
Tonya,
Since this deal is not advertised until 5/15 week, I am not sure calling customer service will help or not. I guess its worth a shot.
Heidi says
ug the 100 count did not work for me :(
Shannon says
Yeah thats what I thought.. thats why I put a heads up in the post.
June says
The Advil did not work for me either. I am in PA.
Grace says
At my store on an endcap there was a display with Advil and they had coupons on them for $2 off any Advil only. Look for these to make a better deal.
yulean says
Very interesting scenario, I wont use 2 RA since it says one per customer but still a great deal though. However I could not figured out how did you get $18 up reward back? Please let me know and thank you in advance :)
Shannon says
Yulean,
The Advil does not say one per customer just as an FYI.
$4 for Advil
$4 for thermacare
My scenario is similar but I was going for all Advil. I have more thermacare wraps than I can ever use:
Here is what I am thinking – with 20% Discount
Buy 4 Advil $28.76
use $3.00/15
(2) $3/2 Select Advil or ThermaCare Items, exp. 5-31-11 (RP 03/27/11)
use $1.00/1 Advil RA Printable
Get back $10 UPR and (2) $4.00 UPR
$.76 for 4 advils.
Heidi says
i thought of a good scenario for Advil, but i haven’t tried it yet. this is with the 10% discount
buy (2) Advil $8.99
buy (2) Thermacare $6.99
Total: $31.96, after 10% off $28.77
use (2) $5 off Advil and Thermacare printables
use (2) $1/1 Thermacare RA printables
use (2) $1/1 Advil RA printables (http://content.riteaid.com/caregiver/Advil_01312011.pdf)
use $3/15 survey coupon
pay $11.77 plus tax, get back $18 in UPR = $6 MM
(even without the 10% off and the survey coupon it would be $18 = still free)
this will work, right?
Shannon says
Heidi, that can work – my store wont allow more than 1 RA printable coupon, but even still, it should be good with 1.
Heidi says
Thanks for the heads up Shannon. For some reason I thought it was just the video values coupons that you could only use one of, but yes I think the scenario will still be good with “just” a $6 MM. Thanks!
Shannon says
The advil doesn’t say it on there ,but they are VERY particular at my store, which I am ok with because they take all legitimate coupons.
Corlien says
Where is the $5 printable coupon for advil or thermacare?? I would love to find this one!!
Bonnie says
I did this deal last night (my store will let me use more than one RA coupon) but my Advil didn’t track:( I called customer service though and they are sending me an UP in the mail?? I have never called customer service before and this experience didn’t inspire much confidence, lol… I guess I expected that by now enough people had called customer service about the Advil not tracking that I wouldn’t have to spend 30 minutes going through an explanation. I was wrong:) In any case, I had Biore products that didn’t track last week so now I have $20 in UPR being mailed to me. I did ask her if Rite Aid was resolving the issue with the advil not tracking – she didn’t know.
Shannon says
Very nice to hear!
