Weather radios are out in stores and if you plan on purchasing one note Walmart's price so you'll have a starting point. They have them in stock for $29.88 which is about the same price as other retailers.
You can find deals on these throughout the severe weather season and sometimes there will be free programming session hosted at Walgreens or safety events.
