At my local Walgreens, one of the cashiers was bragging to me that the Register Reward program will end on September 16 and she seemed so pleased about it. She was gloating that I wouldn’t be able to get anymore free stuff. I told her that she was misinformed and this was just another program that would save me even more money. I told her that CVS has a similar program which you earn points for beauty items and one receives a $5.00 coupon after you reach your points. The lack of professionalism at some Walgreens is really beyond my comprehension.
I got my rewards card three days ago and I already knew all the details about the program from a very friendly manager at another Walgreens a few miles away.

I miss CVS. The Walgreen’s cashiers out here are friendlier, but the managers are much worse.
