Before you do - most stores are accepting mobile versions of their coupons.
Call the spots you plan to hit and make sure you confirm mobile coupons are accepted.
AMEX Sync Your Card
I have mentioned this program before but it's worth mentioning again.
Syncing your card to your social media accounts, Twitter and sometimes Facebook check-in, will allow you to earn credits on your account, discounts or other offers.

This is a free comprehensive app that can allow you to search and compare products to what you see in the store.
It's available for both iPhone and Droid.
This free app allows you to earn deals, points and more just for visiting a store. You can redeem your points for gift cards later.

Stores like Walgreens, Arby's, American Eagle and others have or are offered deals for checking in at their locations. But they are not alone. Many stores are following and offering percentage off discounts etc.
