  1. I just left Walgreen’s and the deal you’re showing isn’t factual. I was told you can’t redeem and earn in the same transaction. I only had 3180 points so there was nothing for me to redeem, I asked could I redeem the points after the items rang up to get them at the price you listed. The clerk said you can’t earn/redeem in the same transaction!!!!! I ended up paying $8 after my $4 coupons, that’s not a deal the way you’ve made it seem

    • You are correct that you can not redeem points and earn points in the same transaction. The above scenarios do not include redeeming points, though. You’re taking advantage of the B1G1 50% off sale, using 2 coupons, and then receiving your points after your transaction. The final total is after sale, coupons, and after receiving your points. I hope that makes for sense.

  2. We were looking at your Simple Walgreens deal, te BOGO 50% off, and using the 2 dollar coupons, it makes them .37 each. Can you please explain to us how that works out? We have been trying to work the math in our head…but it just ain’t working…Thanks for the help!!

      • Yes, it does add up. The scenario above does not say anything about redeeming points. It’s a simple pay out of pocket, get points in return scenario. See below reply for my information. Hope that makes it clear.

    • The 37 cent total is after the BOGO 50% off sale, 2 coupons, and Balance Rewards Points. 1,000 points is equal to about $1. So it’s like paying 37 cents each after everything. You still have to pay out of pocket to get your points back after your transaction. But it’s like paying 37 cents after everything. Does that make sense? I hope so!
