Weekend Unplug: Frugal stair version of Plinko

My kids and nephew love to play at their granddaddy and grandmama's house.  Yesterday my 6 year old created a game for all of them to enjoy and it was pretty cool.

He grabbed some

balls and an old metal mixing bowl and created a kid version of

He passed out a ball to each child and told them to stand at the top of the steps and roll the ball down the steps.  The goal would be to ring the mixing bowl.

His little game was a hit.  Oddly enough if you rung the bowl you earned 90 points.  So they had to do math each time they hit the bowl.

I was proud of him for being creative.  The game brought peace to the group who had earlier been arguing and fighting with each other.
