Top 5 Target One Spot finds this week + Tips for shopping the dollar bin

You know I love Target's One Spot, dollar bin, area.  I got a chance to stop by this week to see if there were any treasures.

Right now you'll find the One Spot in a bit of a transition.  They are switching inventory from summer gear to school gear.  That transition may be slower or quicker depending on location.

Keep in mind that, depending on inventory levels of the previous season, there will 30 to 70 percent off clearance on items if they need room for the new One Spot inventory for the next season.

That means you could pay 30 to 70 cents for items.  The Target Trussville location was pretty bare so I do not expect a clearance event there.  If your location does dip below the $1 price please let us know.

So the best deals I spotted this week include:

Disney's Frozen socks for $1 in various characters and sizes.  Perfect for your Frozen fan.

Buckets and shovels for a $1 which have multiple uses besides playing in sand. Buckets can be used a gift totes, treat bag replacements or decor for a party.  Get creative.

Disney's Princess Sofia and Tangled color and paint by number kits.  These are great for cheap birthday gifts - add some stickers and notepads and you've got a cute little gift.

Expandable pocket folders - I love these envelope expandable pocket folders for a $1. These are perfect for coupons and can fit in a large purse.

Crayola pre-school and kindergarten practice workbooks and coloring books for $1. Disguise learning with play for your youngster with these coloring/workbooks.
