Unfortunately, to move them, I had to cash some the investments out in the 401K, leaving me with quite a few funds to get back into the market. What strategy are you using? My Predicament. I retired in 2010 (yeah!). I moved my retirement savings from two company plans into an IRA. That is the beauty of our inability to know the future!

Seven Retirement Lessons Learned

Hubby retired in July 2007. However, I haven’t learned this lesson too well, as I still have the second plan, which is a 401K. Since we only have one TV, I knew I had to let Hubby know that I really, really wanted to use it for an hour in the morning (one of his favorite TV watching times). I’m retired!
