My son loves to take Lunchables for his school lunch – and his favorite is the pizza. For the sauce, put it in ice cube trays until completely frozen, pop out and place in a freezer bag labeled with – “Pizza Sauce and Date” (I did not run out and buy pizza sauce I used the spaghetti sauce I had on hand.)

After a long busy day at school kids come home hungry and reaching for snacks, but as our current childhood obesity epidemic statistics show the snacks they have been grabbing may not be very good for them. Other alternate methods are to pop in a large pan over the stove or using a simple brown paper lunch bag in the microwave.
