Fill a plastic tub with water, and throw in water safe toys such as plastic dinos, cars, blocks, etc. Take the tub out and give each child small hammers, spoons, picks, and other tools to start chipping away at the ice and excavating the toys hidden inside. Place in the freezer and keep them there until they are frozen solid.
