Should You Invest In A Rising Market?

Is the economy really recovering or will our jobs (assuming we have one) once again disappear? I retired in 2010 (yeah!). In 2010 and 2011 I did get a lot of it re-invested, even though it was rising the whole time. Therefore, what I am now trying to do, as I did back in 2010 and 2011, is to hedge my bet. My Predicament.
