Last year, we barely had any snow, but in 2010 our street looked like this: My kids LOVE to play in the snow, but I really hate to spend a lot of money on snow gear, because we just never know what kind of winter weather we’ll get here in the center of the state.

I started reading The Frugal Girl back in 2010 when Kristen’s kids were still itty bitty.
