The journey started in 2012 when we bought an office building for our business and then found ourselves with a lot of debt and not enough cash flow. A lot of life happened over 7 years and our plan changed slightly, but our goal remains to achieve complete freedom from debt. 2018 Update. Our 2019 Financial Goal.

Our Family Finances Update: January 2021

I said goodbye to mini-van life in January when we traded in our 2007 Honda Odyssey for a 2018 Toyota Highlander. I talk a lot about debt freedom and that is still a goal of ours, and our Debt Freedom Plan will be adjusted. Credit cards are a tricky subject and we pay off the balance every month, so I will write more about this soon.

Our 2017 Debt Freedom Plan Update

Unfortunately, we did not hit that goal and in part, have made some major changes to our Debt Freedom Plan. Our Debt Freedom Plan Started in 2013: The year 2012 was quite exciting for me and my husband. The student loan should be paid off by the end of 2018. Our goal is still debt freedom. So what does this mean?
