Finally Frugal

Little did I know when I started this blog in January of 2008 that I would learn so much and come so far in my struggle to overcome my debt and control my spending. With that said, here are my goals for 2011: Attempt to double my income (from roughly $40,000 from the day job to $80,000 including all of my part time and full time income.

The good news is that I am on schedule to make more from my assorted part time jobs than I do at the full time job (now do you understand why I've not had the time or energy to update my blog more frequently?) Not an easy feat, especially when you consider that I am only averaging $2200 per month at the moment.

The Frugal Girl is one of the few blogs whose URL I have memorized, so I’ve never missed an entry! I wouldn’t qualify it as embarrassing, given the time period, but we lost our entire downpayment on the first house we bought. They had me, and then my mom decided to go back to school full-time and get a PhD.
